Florida Folk Musician Chris Kahl

Musician Chris Kahl will perform a folk-style musical program entertaining to all ages and consisting of songs and stories that highlight the rich history and culture of Florida.  Kahl's award-winning original songs cover major topics in the Florida History Timeline such as Ponce de Leon's discovery of Florida in 1513, Henry Flagler and the FEC railroad, the Space Program, Treasure Shipwrecks, the Seminole Indians, Florida environmental ecosystems, and much more.

Master Gardener Plant Clinic

Guinness World Cup Stacking Day

The Port Orange Regional Library will participate in an international effort to break the sport stacking record.  Children and adults are invited to stop by the library to up-stack and down-stack specially designed cups for at least 30 minutes.


Save the Manatee

Life on a 21st Century Indian Reservation

Musician Jonathan Brady

Expect an afternoon of smooth music as Jonathan performs a wide variety of seasonal favorites to help us to usher in the holiday season.  He'll also perform jazz standards of the 1920's through the 50's and classic and soft rock tunes of the 50's through the 80's.  Jonathan's vocal style was inspired by Bing Crosby, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, and Mel Torme.
