February computer classes



Library Books on your Kindle device, February 11th, 11-1:  You will learn how to check out eBooks from the library’s OverDrive service to your Kindle device.  Feel free to bring your Kindle; wifi is available throughout the building.  This workshop is intended for those with Kindle devices previous to the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD, though these later devices will be able to use the methods described in the workshop.  Though the workshop is free, registration is required.  Call 386-322-5152 to reserve your space!

Introduction to Computers and the Internet, February 12th, 2-4: Registration is required. Hands-on class.

Word Basics, February 14th, 2-3:30:  Get an overview of Microsoft Word 2007.  Registration is required.

Using the OverDrive Media Console App With Your Smartphone or Tablet, February 18, 11-1: Learn how to download ebooks and audiobooks from the library using a free app for your Apple, Windows, and Android phones and tablets, Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD, Nook Tablet, Nook Color, and Nook HD devices.   Feel free to bring your devices as wifi is available throughout the building.  Though the workshop is free, registration is required.  Call 386-322-5152 to reserve your space!
