Dianne Jacoby portray's Florida's history through the personalities and life experiences of three women from different eras: Spanish noblewoman Dona Maria de Menedez, flamboyant Sara Fish, and southern belle Mary Lilly Flagler. History truly comes alive for the audience in this performance. 


What the Council on Aging Can Do for You

For nearly half a century, the Council on Aging has been the trusted source for the health and welfare of Seniors in Volusia County. Dr. Doug Beach, Council Director, will describe how the Council can help you with your health, wellness, and assistance needs including Home Health, Meals on Wheels, Senior Activities, Respite Care, and much more!


 Peter Fletcher in Concert

Please join us as we welcome Peter back as he begins his Florida Concert Tour. The melodic strums of Peter Fletcher's acoustic guitar will take over the library auditorium as he performs a wide variety of beautiful music arranged for his guitar. His life-long passion for music and amazing talent has placed him in concert halls across the country including the George Eastman House in Rochester, N.Y., Emory University's Cannon Chapel, and Carnegie Hall.

Please join us for our Bloomin’ Loomers Intergenerational program. This program is for beginning and advanced loom knitters, and elementary age children through adults of all ages are encouraged to attend! You supply the loom and knitting tool and we supply the yarn!

Join us as Saundra Hudson, owner of Z-Best Herbs, shares will us about the many different kinds of herbs and their uses among various cultures around the world. Saundra will also display some of her favorite herbs and native Florida plants as well as provide expert tips on how to grow our own herbs.
