Monday, November 1, 2pm, Slavery and the Civil War with Mary Fears:  Historical re-enactor Mary Fears shares stories of black Americans in the Civil War including the lesser known but equally important contributions of Mary Peake, Robert Smalls, and Elizabeth Keckley.  Also included will be replicas from the Civil War.
 
Monday, November 4, 11pm, Freading and Axis 360:  Librarian Jennifer Young presents information about two of the Library's eBook Collections.  Please call 322-5152, ext 4 to register.

Tuesday, November 5, 2pm, Caring for Bromeliads:  Jay Thurrott of the Florida East Coast Bromeliad Society will discuss the care of Bromeliads and take questions from the audience.

Thursday, November 7, 1:30pm:  Health Care Law:  Representatives from Enroll America and the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida will be here to answer questions about and help you enroll in the Health Insurance Marketplace.
 
Friday, November 8, 10am, Department of Veterans Affairs:  Please join us as we host a program to provide information vital to veterans and their families.

Friday, November 8, 2pm, Cassandra Blizzard:  We welcome author and psychic medium Cassandra Blizzard.  She will discuss her life as a psychic, dispel myths, and explain how psychics can help law enforcement.

Thursday, November 14, All Day:  World Cupstacking Day!:  Ladies and Gentlemen--It's that time of year again!  Come one, Come all for a day of cup stacking fun!  Stack for 30 minutes and help us beat the world record.  This year's attempt worldwide is Half a Million stackers.
 
Thursday, November 14, 1:30pm:  Health Care Law:  Representatives from Enroll America and the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida will be here to answer questions about and help you enroll in the Health Insurance Marketplace.
 
Monday, November 18, 11am, Merritt & Moreau:  A salute to our veterans!  Merritt and Moreau present a show featuring the greatest patriotic songs ever written!

Tuesday, November 19, 2pm:  Square Foot Gardening:  Kevin Bagwell of Full Moon Natives describes a simplified method of gardening that produces 100% of the harvest in only 20% of the space, using 80% less water!

Friday, November 22, 2pm,  Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse:  Come learn about the finest, most complete historic light station in the United States!  The lighthouse is over 115 years old and holds many tales.
