The DASH Diet
Monday, July 6, 10am
The DASH diet plan was developed to lower blood pressure without medication.  Numerous studies have shown that the diet also reduces the risk of other diseases including diabetes, kidney stones, and heart disease.  Please join us as YMCA Healthy Living Coordinator JoAnn Maurice provides an overview of the DASH eating plan.  This seminar is part of our Healthy Eating for Blood Pressure Management Series and includes a complimentary blood pressure check.

Health and Wellness with Essential Oils

Robert Stewart and Registered Nurse Linda Stewart of doTerra Wellness Advocates explain the health benefits of essential oils during this free program.  Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants.  They are for aromatic, topical, and internal use.
