Tuesday, September 20 - 2pm
Audiences are thrilled by the fabulous music, glorious voices and genuine love of these classic songs as presented by duo Meritt & Moreau. This program is a fast paced, enthusiastic and sometimes comedic look at the shows that literally changed the course of musical theater. Rodgers and Hammerstein influenced everyone who followed them, from Stephen Sondheim (a student of Rodgers) to Andrew Lloyd Webber. The lyrics are as fresh today as when they were first written and the melodies are still unsurpassed.
