The Prairie Prankster
Local playwright Karen Poulsen invites you to the Arcadia Bar and Grill Saloon, the 'ole stomping ground for Famed Florida Cowhunter, Bone Mizell, where he is always stirring up some fun and pranks for the local folks. Set in the late 1800s, the play features four talented and experienced actors who are familiar to audiences from Volusia and Flagler Counties. Ryan McNally has the best Yeehaw! of any character in Florida in his portrayal of Bone Mizell. Jeanna Carley returns for a third year to the NEA Big Read original play series as saloon owner Priscilla Ray Reed. Running from the charming Bone is Heather Beam as the sweet, but sassy Martha Kreider. Terence Van Auken always brings humor to the stage while doing his best to keep order as the town Sheriff who arrests Bone on a regular basis.
