Bird Hearts. 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. Create a beautiful heart image composed of tiny birds. Registration is required.
Living Your Best Life. 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. Anne S. Tracy, R.N. of Halifax Health will present a talk focusing on memory changes and forgetfulness.
Celtic Music with Emily Ann Thompson. 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14. Join us for a Celtic music adventure! From fast, high-energy jigs and reels to captivating airs and songs, Emily Ann Thompson’s performance is energetic and passionate. She performs traditional Irish, Scottish, and Canadian fiddle tunes, sings in English and Irish Gaelic, and clogs while fiddling. Emily Ann’s husband, Kelly, joins her on guitar, percussion, and vocals. Emily’s brilliant fiddling with foot percussion, and her sweet, lilting voice combined with Kelly’s driving rhythmic guitar and rich, unabashed vocals create a diverse & highly entertaining combination.
“The Sugar Warehouse” Painting Class. 2 p.m. Friday, March 15; 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16. Celebrate Other Birds by painting an image inspired by the book during one of these two identical classes. Registration is required.
Tabletop Roleplaying Game. 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16. The Port Orange Regional Library is hosting a tabletop roleplaying game based on the legendary game Dungeons and Dragons! Do you have what it takes to brave the wiles of the Feywild? This program is intended for ages 18 years and older.

Growing Fruit. 2
p.m. Tuesday, March 19. There are many fruits that can be grown successfully in
Central Florida. Learn from Master
Gardener Julie Warner which ones are most successful in our climate and
determine how to plant, how to fertilize, and how to harvest. UF/IFAS Master Gardeners will also share
gardening tips and answer questions during the Ask a Master Gardener session.
Residents can bring their plants for a free check-up.
DIY Spirit Balls. 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 20. Dating back over 600 years, legend says that negative energy and spirits are attracted to the beauty of the spirit ball and become trapped inside. The spirit balls were traditionally hung at the entrance to a property to protect it from evil influences. We will explore several techniques to make our own version of a Spirit Ball which we can then use as gazing balls in our garden, a pretty decoration for our windows or even as a centerpiece. Supplies are limited. Registration is required.
Grief
& Loss, Am I Normal? 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21. People somehow
expect a quick fix when experiencing grief and loss. They compare themselves to
others who appear to recover quickly or listen to people who tell them they
should just “move on.” Sometimes they even experience things that make them
feel a little crazy in the process. Is this normal? Topics such as normalizing
grief, the brain and grief, and learning to move forward after loss will be
explored. With Cheryl Walsh, Advent Health Hospice Care Bereavement Counselor.
Genealogy Interest Group. 2 p.m. Friday, March 22. This is an informal space where you can meet and work with other family historians in a small group setting. Basic assistance with genealogy research is available. Feel free to bring your own laptop or device. Please call 386-322-5152, option 4 to reserve a library laptop. A very limited number are available for reservation, so call soon! Reservations are not required to attend the session.
