Sunday Cinema
Crouching tiger, hidden dragon: 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7.  Rated PG-13, 120 minutes.  A young Chinese warrior steals a sword from a famed swordsman and then escapes into a world of romantic adventure with a mysterious man in the frontier of the nation.  In Mandarin with English subtitles.


Classic Film Sunday
Cat on a hot tin roof: 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14.  Not rated, 108 minutes. Brick, an alcoholic ex-football player, drinks his days away and resists the affections of his wife, Maggie. His reunion with his father, Big Daddy, who is dying of cancer, jogs a host of memories and revelations for both father and son. Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman star.

Afternoon at the Movies
Fighting with my family: 2 p.m. Monday, July 1.  Rated PG-13, 108 minutes.  A former wrestler and his family make a living performing at small venues around the country while his kids dream of joining World Wrestling Entertainment.  Dwayne Johnson stars.
The wife: 2 p.m. Monday, July 8.  Rated R for language and some sexual content, 99 minutes.   A wife questions her life choices as she travels to Stockholm to see her husband receive the Nobel Prize for Literature.   Glenn Close stars.
Five feet apart: 2 p.m. Monday, June 15.   Rated PG-13, 116 minutes.  A pair of teenagers with cystic fibrosis meet in a hospital and fall in love, though their disease means they must avoid close physical contact. 
Captain marvel: 2 p.m. Monday, July 22. Rated PG-13, 123 minutes.  Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson star.
The public: 2 p.m. Monday, July 29.  Rated PG-13, 119 minutes. An act of civil disobedience turns into a standoff with police when homeless people in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold.  Alec Baldwin and Emilio Estevez star. 

Summer Movie Series
Guardians of the galaxy: 10 a.m. Friday, July 5.  Rated PG-13, 121 minutes.  A group of intergalactic criminals must pull together to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to purge the universe.
Space jam: 10 a.m. Friday, July 12.  Rated PG, 88 minutes.  In a desperate attempt to win a basketball match and earn their freedom, the Looney Tunes seek the aid of retired basketball champion, Michael Jordan.
The Last starfighter: 10 a.m. Friday, July 19.  Rated PG, 101 minutes: Video game expert Alex Rogan finds himself transported to another planet after conquering The Last Starfighter video game only to find out it was just a test. He was recruited to join the team of best starfighters to defend their world from the attack.
Solo: a star wars story: 10 a.m. Friday, July 26. Rated PG-13, 135 minutes.   During an adventure into the criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.


Summer Documentary Series
Apollo 11: a night to remember: 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 16.  Unrated, 115 minutes.  Share your memories of the Moon Landing and enjoy a showing of Apollo 11:  A Night to Remember.  From the BBC, this documentary compiles the sights, sounds, and electrifying drama of humanity’s first footsteps on the moon.
Invisible universe revealed: 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28.  Not rated, 60 minutes.  Twenty-five years ago, NASA launched one of the most ambitious experiments in the history of astronomy: the Hubble Space Telescope. In honor of Hubble's landmark anniversary, NOVA tells the remarkable story of the telescope that forever changed our understanding of the cosmos and our place in it.
